Building Process
The advantage of working with Baxter Construction to design and build your home will become evident early on in the process. Together, we can combine your needs and tastes with our years of experience and blend them into a home we can both be proud of and your neighbors will envy.
The process begins with the homeowners: create a list of items you feel are important-anything from room sizes to material preferences; this is your wish-list. This list should be somewhat broad; we will be able to tell you what items we include as standards, and which ones are of importance.
Next, sit down with Nick and Jason to create a preliminary design based on your ideas and our expertise. After a round of modifications, we can then incorporate your wish-list into an educated estimate.
At this point, you can either purchase the home plans from Baxter Construction, or we can move forward together. We will fine tune the plans, materials, and choices into a realistic price, and agree upon a full set of construction documents. These will include a specification agreement, a contract, and final plans. Before you know it, a home that reflects your tastes will begin to rise out of the ground and eventually become a home that we know you will enjoy for years to come.
